Mimi’s Chūka Diner, the acclaimed pop-up (nearly) gone permanent at the former Tasting Counter restaurant space inside Aeronaut Brewing Co. in Somerville, has been on our highly anticipated openings radar all year. The wait is almost up: Co-owners Ted Woo and Jon Awerman are wrapping up inspections and gearing up for an early October opening, according to Woo. We’ll be first in line for those gyoza when the doors swing open.
